Feast of the Nativity Services

 

December 24 -- Eve of Nativity                                                               

 AM Royal Hours & Typica (moved to Friday when the eve is a Saturday or Sunday)

 AM Vesperal Liturgy of St. Basil (St. John Chrysostom Liturgy when on Saturday or Sunday)

 PM pm Vigil

 

December 25 – Nativity of the Lord                          

AM Akathist, 3rd & 6th Hours

AM Festal Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom (St. Basil if Sunday or Monday)

PM   Vigil

 

December 26 – Synaxis of the Theotokos                     

AM Akathist Hymn, 3rd & 6th Hours

AM  Festal Divine Liturgy followed by Lunch and Caroling

PM Vigil

 

December 27 -- St. Stephen the First-martyred        

AM  Akathist, 3rd & 6th Hours

AM  Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom

 

December 31 – Leavetaking of Nativity
